Getting the Most Out of Framing – Turandot poster

Welcome to our first official blog post. We’ve got lots of different topics planned that we hope will educate, entertain, and embolden you. And it won’t all be about framing. But rather than talk about it, let’s get to it!
We really love how this classic poster was transformed with the right attention. The customer brought it to us in a standard poster frame and asked us to give it something more appropriate.
By adding some mats to give it the proper color and a little breathing room, it doesn’t look like “just a poster.” And that gold frame now looks like it can actually support the graphic image.
We’d like to think it’d inspire Puccini to write another opera.
