What’s Up – Women Pop Artists at Tufts

This would normally be Thursday’s post, but since you’re probably staying in today we wanted to give you a jumpstart on something to do when things thaw out tomorrow.
The Tufts University Art Gallery will hold an opening reception for their latest show, “Seductive Subversion: Women Pop Artists, 1958-1968” from 5:30-8:00 on February 3rd. But if you miss that, the show runs thru April 3rd. It features a variety of works by women who were making art when men like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jasper Johns were getting all the notoriety. This work was completely new to us and really exciting to discover.
