A horse, a horse! My puppet for a horse!

We’ve talked about TED before and will probably do so again because so many great ideas are shared at their conferences. Which is exactly what this nonprofit group is about – “ideas worth spreading.” TED stands for technology, entertainment, and design. Since it started in 1984, it’s grown into more than that. But most videos of the guest speakers come from the two annual conferences, one in Palm Springs and one in Edinburgh. It’s here that thinkers and doers from around the world are asked to give the “talk of their lives” in 18 minutes or less. The talk by artist JR that we featured the other week was quite entertaining. But this presentation by Adrian Kohler and Basil Jones of the Handspring Puppet Company really held our attention and almost makes us believe in magic.
